Choosing a cattery can feel like a big step when you want your cat to be safe, settled, and properly looked after. We keep things clear at Mr T's Cattery in Dalkeith, with modern UPVC PetPods, heated indoor pens, and daily care that gives you real peace of mind. Each space is set up to support your cat's comfort, with sleeping areas, feeding stations, litter trays, and room for your cat to watch the world go by or stretch out with a cat tree.
Our 24-hour CCTV adds another layer of reassurance, because it matters to know your cat is staying somewhere secure. As a small family-run cattery, we have the time to notice the little things, from shy behaviour to favourite routines. That personal touch is a big reason many people leave kind cattery reviews after their cat has stayed with us.
Fantastic 5 star hotel for cats
Gregg was great with our little Hope settling her in and spending lots of time with her during her Christmas stay. Hope was lovely and cosy when we went to collect her from her heated cat pod. Videos and photos were posted giving us a little glimpse into Hope’s holiday which was fab! Would highly recommend Mr T's - it’s a lovely modern, clean cat hotel Gregg was great to deal with, even showing us around before we booked. Thanks!

Mr T’s cattery is a five star hotel for cats! Pip and Pop have stayed twice now and settled in well from the start. The place is spotlessly clean and so very cosy. Greg is great! Friendly and helpful and the Facebook videos are a brilliant idea. I would recommend Mr T’s Cattery to anyone wishing to leave their feline family in a safe and homely environment. Thank you Greg

Greg were brilliant
Our cats were the first to stay at Mr T’s Cattery and it was a great experience. Greg was brilliant, they made extra efforts add a personal touch to their cattery service which we hadn’t had before. We were kept up to date on how our cats were getting on while we were on holiday through videos and pictures of them playing that were shared to the Mr T’s Cattery page. We also got to meet Mr T himself who is a sweetheart 😻 Thanks a lot Greg.

I cant believe I've not left a review yet! We regularly use Mr T's Cattery, Greg is fantastic with our (slightly evil) cat, and also is himself so kind. When she stays i know she is being well looked after, warm, cosy and well fed and in a clean environment. We always look forward to the updates on social media as well when we're away. Mr T's is a great cattery. Oscar has stayed here several times now and we wouldn't go anywhere else.
The units are clean and a good size. Having photo updates is really reassuring. Greg is so lovely and you can tell he really enjoys looking after the cats.

I have been using Mr Ts Cattery for over a year now. And, I mean using!
At least once a month for 10 months...
That sounds bad, but i love and care for them. Ditto Greg.
He has cared over and above what i have experienced with other Catteries. My 2 cats are cared by Greg the owner, i think sometimes better than i do!
They obviously love him as although so happy to see me, they communicate only the way a cat (s) can. I cannot believe how brilliant they look after being at the cattery. They are played with, affectionately cared for and he loves all cats he has staying. He knows the cats names not the owner! I think that says it all. A second home indeed. I cannot tell anyone how much i think of how my "Krays" are loved and looked after. A friend vetoed him.. passed with flying colours.. she knows! Take your cats Mr T's!

Absoutley fantastic. Simba came home happy so we will be using again. May sound weird but we'd gone for a quick nose round before we booked and everything was in great shape and there wasnt a hint of litter tray smell - that was the clincher for us. We definitley recommend!

My wee cat Luna loves it at Mr T's. She is a shy girl and i cant leave her with many people but she is always calm and happy at Mr T's. This is our go to cattery and i highly recommend it to others ( but not when we need it or it wont be available for us)
